Coming to Marlow on business? Our guest house accommodation is handy for the numerous business parks in Marlow with easy access to the M40 (Junction 4) and M4 (Junction 8/9) motorways, Heathrow Airport, and the towns of High Wycombe, Maidenhead and Bourne End. It is an easy walk to Marlow railway station. Planning a social event? With two lovely old churches and some fine conference venues Marlow has become a resort of choice for both weddings and family parties.

Guests and those who visit as tourists appreciate the beauty of the Thames-side scenery and the wide variety of eating and shopping opportunities. Marlow is truly a jewel in Southern England's crown.

For the more energetic Granny Anne's has welcomed many Thames Path walkers and cyclists (secure store provided). Marlow has two fitness centres and a pool. The Thames attracts its own visitors with the annual Regatta, Carnival and floating Puppet Theatre. In the season Salters Steamers (tel: 01865 243421) offer trips upstream and down and skiffs are available for hire. The statue of Sir Steve Redgrave, 5-time Olympic gold medallist, supervises it all from his vantage point in Higginson Park.

Other attractions are a short drive away: Windsor Castle, Ascot Races, Legoland, Oxford, Henley and Reading. The bright lights of London are just an hour away. Why Granny Anne's? When you see the rogues' gallery of our six grandchildren lining the staircase you'll understand, and it was one of the five boys that inspired the idea.
