GRANNY ANNE'S TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

General Terms & Conditions

Smoking: Granny Anne's is an entirely non-smoking establishment.

Food in Rooms: Visitors are prohibited from eating take-away meals, etc, in bedrooms. Plates & cutlery will be provided in the breakfast room on request.

All Prices quoted include full English or continental breakfast. There is no price reduction if breakfast is not required.

In the event of damage to or loss of Granny Anne's property through spillage or breakage, etc, the visitor is responsible for the cost of reasonable reparations. An account will be provided. If damage, etc isn't discovered until after the visitor has left they will be informed of their liability within 24 hours or by recorded delivery to the address provided.

Financial Terms & Conditions

Payment for accommodation is to be made by the time the visitor leaves, either by cash, cheque, credit or debit card (not Diners or Amex). A surcharge may be applied to non-chip & pin or business card transactions

The proprietors also accept US dollars or Euros at the prevailing tourist exchange rate.

Granny Anne's is not registered for Value Added Tax so there is no VAT payable.

Check-in and Check-out Times

At the time of booking we try to understand guests' requirements.

Checking in. We are normally ready to receive visitors from noon onwards. If you especially need to arrive earlier than this, or after 11 p.m. please discuss this with us.

Checking out. To enable preparation of rooms for new arrivals the normal checking out time is 10 a.m. If you have a special reason to be leaving us later than this please discuss this with us.

Cancellation Terms & Conditions

Cancellation: If a firm booking is cancelled a charge of half of what would have been paid is due. If we are able to re-book the accommodation the charge will be half of any shortfall.

No Shows: If a firm booking is made and the guest(s) just don't turn up we will charge what would have been paid plus a handling charge of £20.
